Let our passion for music lift your soul and make your heart beat stronger.

Why do I continue to manage Stringsaloud and perform at weddings? I genuinely like to see a “happy story” unfold infront of me as we play someone down the aisle to their partner and witness that “first look”. The story continues as the couple make their vows, then we play for their Signing of the Register where you can see them relax more into their big day. Once they are ready to come back up the aisle as a married couple you can see the look of joy on their faces as they make their journey in to the future together. We are part of that ceremony by providing the chosen atmosphere for the couple whether it be serene, joyous or sometimes some comedy through their music choices, there will always be a special place in my heart for one couple who walked back up the aisle to the Family Guy Theme!”

Mary Wallace, Humanist Celebrant

As a marriage Celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland, I’ve had the pleasure of listening to Strings Aloud on many occasions and they are, without doubt, one of the best string quartets in the business! Not only are they excellent musicians, but they are also friendly, helpful and very professional too! What more could you ask for.

Sarah Jane Anderson, Wedding Coordinator at the Busby Hotel.

One of the most professional groups I have ever had the pleasure of working with these super talented girls are nothing short of amazing! Their musical standards are superb, and they have NEVER let me down – hence the reason I have them on my list of recommended suppliers. If you are looking for a string quartet to complement your big day then look no further, Strings Aloud are second to none and absolutely fantastic!

Billy Boyd, Actor (Lord of the Rings)

One of the best decisions we made for our wonderful wedding day was having the stunning music of stringsaloud. I cannot say enough good things. They are professional, incredibly helpful in picking the right pieces and above all they make beautiful, beautiful music. Thank you Stringsaloud.

Mr & Mrs McGirr, Wedding Couple

We would highly recommend this string quartet. Not only were they extremely professional from initial inquiry through to playing on our wedding day, they accommodated our musical tastes which made our day very special and personal. Their sound was of high quality with a wide range of repertoire from Bach to Daftpunk. On our wedding day the quartet added a romantic ambience and our guests loved listening to the girls playing. Stringsaloud made our ceremony for us and we could not recommend them highly enough. They even played in 30 degree scorching sunshine, during our drinks reception, and did so with a smile on their faces. Thank you so much!

The 5 second rule for wedding nerves!
#melrobbins #fivesecondrule

Mel Robbins
Before you say "yes to the dress" there's a heck of a lot of stress that comes with planning a wedding.

So, as we head into #engagementseason, this one's for YOU, and all the nervous brides you know. I'm going to teach you the life-changing power of mind control.

Believe it or not, you can plan a wedding without driving yourself and your loved ones crazy. If you learn how to bury your nerves, anxiety, and freak outs with an “anchor thought”.

What’s an ⚓thought? It’s a thought you can turn to when your brain starts to runaway (like a bride). LOL. Next time you catch yourself having a mental meltdown over the seating chart -- use an anchor thought to beat the freak out and secure your mind to a positive future vision, like the moment you see your future spouse standing at the top of the aisle for the very first time. Works like a charm. Even for nervous brides.

In this video you’ll see exactly how it’s done for wedding season, but it can be applied in any area of your life.

Know a future bride who could use the advice? Or just a friend in need of the life-changing magic of mind control? Tag them below.
